Gobble, Gobble!

How can it be? Thanksgiving is next week? I for one have been holding out for Indian Summer, but then again maybe it came along and I missed it.

So as you are compiling your grocery list and looking at your menu striving to add a new dish to the table this year, make sure you check out www.smittenkitchen.com (yes, Smitten Kitchen, not Smitten Kitten…you’ll be confused). I’m hearing rave reviews and the recipes sound tasty. Yum.

And please don’t forget in this week of planning to add extra canned goods to your cart. You can help bring Thanksgiving through other doors. There are six places in town that are collecting canned goods this Sunday to help the hungry and make our whole community thankful.
